A non-profit organization dedicated to developing and

training young women in vocal arts

The Columbus Girlchoir is a choral arts program that offers girls ages 9 to 18 training in vocal technique, choral style, vocal health and music fundamentals. The group's mission is two-fold: it stresses a commitment to performing traditional music with understanding and excellence, while offering its members the opportunity to develop friendships with girls from varied backgrounds, and build self-esteem and self-discipline through hard work and dedication.

The Columbus Girlchoir is funded in part by a grant from the

Columbus Arts Council and through the generosity of patrons

who provide scholarships and financial assistance.

The Columbus Girlchoir is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
